Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of NucleusOG (“NucleusOG”, “we”, “us”), a private messaging service used by an educator or institute and the students in their batch. By using NucleusOG, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

If you are under 18: you may use NucleusOG only with the consent and involvement of your parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

1. Who can use NucleusOG

NucleusOG is for invited educators and the students in their batches. You must provide accurate information when you sign in and keep your account secure. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.

2. The service

NucleusOG lets educators run a private channel for their batch — announcements, subject channels, doubts, and direct messages. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. NucleusOG is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in future, we will give you clear notice and updated terms before any charges apply.

3. Acceptable use

When using NucleusOG, you agree not to:

post unlawful, harmful, hateful, or harassing content;
spam, impersonate others, or share other people’s private information without permission;
upload files that contain malware or that you do not have the right to share;
attempt to break, probe, or disrupt the security of the service.

Your educator moderates their batch and may remove content or members that break these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the messages and files you share. To run the service, you grant us permission to store and display your content to the people in your batch. You are responsible for what you post, and we or your educator may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

5. Your educator’s role

Your educator or institute manages your batch — they can post announcements, appoint sub-admins, moderate messages, and add or remove members. Decisions about who is in a batch are made by the educator, not by NucleusOG.

6. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Suspension & ending use

We or your educator may suspend or remove access if these Terms are broken. You may stop using NucleusOG at any time and ask us to delete your account and data using the contact below.

8. Disclaimers & liability

NucleusOG is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for content posted by users, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of NucleusOG means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any disputes.
